Immerse yourself in the city that combines Alaska’s mesmerizing beauty, convenient urban comforts, and captivating arts and culture while learning about the traditional homelands of the Dena’ina Athabascan people on this 3 hour tour. See where Anchorage began along the banks of Ship Creek and how those humble beginnings grew into the largest city in Alaska.

At the Alaska Native Heritage Center, you will have time to explore and learn about Alaska’s Indigenous People. Tour the exhibits inside the center and be sure to take a walk around the lake and to see the different types of housing that Native Alaskans used. See cultural demonstrations of storytelling, singing, dancing, and Native Games.

After exploring the Native Heritage Center, you will take the short trip back downtown.
